Researcher - Diarmid Marshall

Diarmid Marshall graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 1995 with a MEng (Hons) degree in Electronics. His MEng project with GEC Plessey Semiconductors Ltd. (Swindon) involved looking at demodulation and decoding techniques for digital radios.

Diarmid started working as a Research Associate at CCIR in August 1995. His work has included user trials on automated telephone services, EPGs and interactive television, and alphanumeric data entry techniques.

In his spare time, Diarmid is a keen sportsman. He plays rugby for Leith Academicals and also enjoys playing football, squash and working out at the gym.
