Researcher - Douglas Scott

Douglas Scott joined CCIR in September 2000 in the role of Research Experiment Co-Ordinator.

He started employment with Ferranti in Edinburgh in 1963 as a development engineer in radar systems, and in 1964 joined Nuclear Enterprises Edinburgh, involved in the development of nucleonic and ultrasound systems. In 1976 he moved to Philips Electrical in Eindhoven in a sales position (analytical X-ray systems) with responsibility for Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Irish Republic. This also involved working in the application laboratories in the Netherlands, Belgium and France.

He enjoys foreign travel, good food and good wine.
